The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak while chairing meeting on Swat Express Way at CM Secretariat Peshawar has approved 81 Km long Express Way which will cost Rs.28.30 billion while its completion will save over 2 hours journey between Motorway Col Sher interchange and Chakdara. Swat Express Way will pass through open and scenic areas of four districts Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan and Malakand. It will be completed under public private partnership (PPP) in three years while land for service road on both sides of Express Way will also be allocated.
The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) under the Chairmanship of Khalid Pervez, Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday approved 18 development projects with an estimated cost of Rs. 11.781 billion. The meeting was attended by the Administrative Secretaries and Senior Staff of P&D, Finance, Environment, C&W, LG&RD, Health & Higher Education, PHE and Irrigation Departments.
Anti-polio immunization campaign has been started in nine districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday. The campaign in Peshawar, Charsadda, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshehra, Bannu, Kohat, Tank and Dera Ismail Khan has been launched with the financial assistance of Saudi Arabia.
