The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak while chairing meeting on Swat Express Way at CM Secretariat Peshawar has approved 81 Km long Express Way which will cost Rs.28.30 billion while its completion will save over 2 hours journey between Motorway Col Sher interchange and Chakdara. Swat Express Way will pass through open and scenic areas of four districts Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan and Malakand. It will be completed under public private partnership (PPP) in three years while land for service road on both sides of Express Way will also be allocated.
Anti-polio immunization campaign has been started in nine districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday. The campaign in Peshawar, Charsadda, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshehra, Bannu, Kohat, Tank and Dera Ismail Khan has been launched with the financial assistance of Saudi Arabia.

Anti Corruption: KPK NAB today arrested Inayatullah Khan Abdali, MD / Contractor of M/s Abdali Brothers Ramzan & Co allegedly involved in sub-standard construction of Adina Lahore Road, District Swabi.
According to the details, a complaint was lodged in NAB (KPK) against the accused person for sub-standard construction of Adina Lahor Road Swabi and illegal gain in the form of higher rates. In 2005 the Provincial Govt granted approval for reconstruction of Adina Lahore (Swabi) road.
